A New Way to Experience Block Printing

Instead of just choosing colors, you’ll learn to compose with them.
The Color Menu: A Simple Structure
We use a curated menu of tones designed specifically for fabric. Each palette follows a functional hierarchy:
Base: 1 color for the largest areas.
Dominant: 1–2 colors for main motifs.
Anchor: 1–2 colors for outlines and sharp details.

Choosing Your Direction
The menu is divided into two moods to give you a reliable starting point:
Cool Palettes: Teals, blues, and soft greens for a calm, airy feel.
Warm Palettes: Earth tones, corals, and ochres for a grounded, rich feel.

Digital Tools for Design
To support your process, we’ve integrated Palettable:
Explore: Use Palettable — Library to browse combinations before you arrive.
Experiment: Use Palettable — Generate in the studio to apply palettes to your specific designs.
The Result
By treating color as a system rather than a random choice, you move from uncertainty to intuition. You won't just leave with a finished piece—you'll leave with a new way of seeing color.
Engage with block printing as a design experience.
