The Sourcebook: A Community-Built Textile Directory for Jaipur

In Jaipur, great textile resources don’t always come with signage. They’re found through conversations, local know-how, and years of experience working in the field. That’s exactly why we built The Sourcebook — a growing, community-led directory of the city’s most trusted textile suppliers, service providers, and hidden gems.

Whether you're looking for a reliable dyeing unit, or that one trims store tucked away in a crowded bazaar — The Sourcebook helps you find resources that have already been vetted by other designers, makers, and small studios.

Why we created The Sourcebook

Finding the right people in the textile world can be tough — especially if you're just getting started or working on something outside the mainstream supply chain. The Sourcebook is our way of making that process more transparent, collaborative, and equitable.

Every source has been contributed by someone who’s actually worked with them. That means what you see here is built on real trust, not algorithms.

How it works

Simple:

Contribute one trusted source you’ve worked with.

Gain access to one in return.

Each submission is reviewed before going live, so quality stays high.

We don’t rank, rate, or advertise. Everyone contributes. Everyone benefits.

For makers, by makers

Whether you're prototyping a new collection or sourcing ethically for a workshop, The Sourcebook can save you weeks of legwork. But more than that, it helps build a more connected, transparent textile ecosystem — one that values craft, trust, and community.

A small note

You’ll also find a few mentions of our own services and offerings from Creatis in The Sourcebook. We’re a textile studio ourselves, and while this platform is community-first, we occasionally share what we do in case it’s relevant to you.

Have a source you swear by? Share it. Need one to get started? Explore the directory. This only works if we build it together.
