Celebrating 10 Years of Creatis

Creatis Studio · 2016 – 2026

10 Years
in Motion

A decade of craft, collaboration, and conscious creation. From Jaipur workshops to global labels, from fabric to systems — grown with every maker who walked through our doors.

2016 → 2026

Creatis began in 2016 with a modest start rooted in the belief that craft could be both practiced and passed on — through Craft, our B2B textile manufacturing arm, and Make, our studio workshop programme. What began as an experiment soon became a living studio — a space where students, designers, and collaborators could immerse themselves in textiles and process.

Over the years, our studio has welcomed learners from institutions like IICD Jaipur and FIT New York, proof that the language of craft travels far. We've had the privilege of working with remarkable partners — J Banks Design Group, Rebecca Gardner Design, Celadon Home, Lacefield Design, Telfair Museum of Art, and many more — as well as cultural collaborations with Jaipur Art Week. Each partnership has shaped our practice and deepened our belief that craft thrives when shared — across brands, borders, and generations.

The Studio Opens

Creatis launches with Craft and Make services — B2B textile manufacturing and hands-on craft programmes running side by side from a single studio in Jaipur. The experiment begins.

First International Collaborations

Partnerships with Peter Dunham Textiles and Lacefield Design establish Creatis in the international interiors and home textiles space. Craft meets commerce — and holds its own.

Institutions & Makers

Students from IICD Jaipur and FIT New York find their way to the studio. Collaborations with Celadon Home, J Banks Design Group, Rebecca Gardner, and the Telfair Museum of Art expand the practice into museum-grade textile work and high-end home furnishings.

Scale & Systems

Workshop capacity grows to 30+ participants daily. The studio formalises its operations — inventory, production, scheduling — building infrastructure that lets the craft breathe rather than strain under demand.

Where We Stand Now

2026 marks the convergence of a decade's work into three distinct new chapters.

"From a single programme to a thriving studio — the journey has always been about movement. Of ideas, hands, and traditions, carried forward with every new chapter."

Thank you to every student, partner, collaborator, and maker who has been part of this. Here's to the next ten.

— The Creatis Team, 2026
