Every garment tells a story — of form, fabric, and the hands that bring it to life. At Creatis, we invite you to step into that story.

This is a full-day, hands-on workshop that lets you experience the making of a garment from the inside out. Guided by our studio masters, you’ll select a design from the One Day in November collection and learn how it’s built — from the first cut to the final stitch.

This isn’t a quick craft session; it’s a slow, deliberate exploration of how design becomes real through making. You’ll work with professional tools, study patterns, learn construction techniques, and discover the balance between precision and intuition that defines good design.

Whether you’re a designer, a maker, or simply someone drawn to the process, this is a chance to understand a garment not just as something worn — but as something made.

How long is the workshop?

The workshop is an immersive, hands-on session lasting approximately 6 hours.

Who is this for?

Open to all skill levels, ages 16+ — ideal for designers, makers or students. Prior sewing experience is recommended.

What you'll learn

Choose your design:

Begin by selecting a garment from our One Day in November collection — each piece designed for clarity, comfort, and craft. You’ll learn how design intent translates into pattern, proportion, and construction choices. This first step helps you understand the connection between concept and form — why a neckline sits the way it does, or how volume is balanced in a silhouette.

Learn the process:

Guided by our team, you’ll move through the complete journey of garment making — cutting, stitching, assembling, and finishing. You’ll understand how a flat pattern becomes a three-dimensional form, how seams define structure, and how finishing techniques elevate the final piece. The focus is not on speed, but on precision and presence — learning to see through the eyes of a maker.

Work with masters:

You’ll work alongside our studio masters — people who bring skill and intuition into every stitch. They’ll share insights on handling fabric, maintaining stitch accuracy, and achieving balance between technique and touch. More than technical learning, this part is about rhythm — finding flow in repetition and understanding the quiet discipline behind good craft.

Make it your own:

By the end of the workshop, you’ll have made a garment with your own hands — and with it, gained a deeper appreciation for the process that turns design into something tangible. You’ll leave not just with what you made, but with an understanding of how design thinking, craft, and making come together in every piece we create.
