Explore the rich diversity of India’s traditional textile crafts through a hands-on embroidery experience. Choose two embroidery traditions from across India—from Kashida of Kashmir and Kasuti of Karnataka to Phulkari of Punjab, Chikankari of Uttar Pradesh, Kantha of Bengal, Rabari embroidery of Gujarat and more. Each tradition introduces you to a distinctive visual language, stitch vocabulary and way of making, with designs created especially for the workshop.
Make the experience your own by choosing your threads and colours, then use your chosen traditions to create a set of six cocktail napkins. Mix traditional palettes with your own creative choices, experiment with different stitches and embellishments, and leave with a unique set of handcrafted napkins—and a deeper appreciation of the diverse embroidery traditions that have shaped India’s textile heritage.

Table Linen: 6 cocktail napkins (6” × 9”), crafted in a durable linen-cotton blend with a medium weight and subtle texture. You’ll begin working on them during the workshop—completing as many pieces as you can—and take the full set home with all materials provided to finish the rest at your own pace.
We provide all necessary materials (fabric, embroidery hoop, needles, threads, embellishments), and expert guidance and support throughout the workshop.

You can receive a full refund if you cancel your reservation at least 3 hours in advance for groups of fewer than 4, or 24 hours in advance for groups of 4 or more, prior to the scheduled workshop time.
