Module 1
In this class, you'll learn how to create beautiful, functional garments from start to finish. You'll start with the basics of fabric selection and pattern layout, then move on to sizing and drafting patterns that fit your body perfectly. From there, you'll learn a variety of construction techniques and tools, including how to use a sewing machine, serger, and iron, and how to sew different types of seams and finishes.
You'll learn how to create 3 basic garments of our choice, and how to incorporate different design elements such as pleats, gathers, and pockets.
One of the unique aspects of this class is the personalized attention you'll receive from the master. You'll have ample opportunities to ask questions, receive feedback, and troubleshoot any issues that arise. The small class size also allows for plenty of individualized instruction and support.
At the end of the course, you'll have a portfolio of completed garments and a solid foundation in garment construction. You'll be equipped with the skills and confidence to take on more advanced projects, create custom-fit garments for yourself and others, and even pursue a career in fashion design.
Module 2
In this intermediate garment making class, you'll build upon your existing sewing skills and delve deeper into the world of garment construction. You'll learn advanced techniques for sewing and constructing garments, such as creating complex seams, adding linings, and working with challenging fabrics.
